EBook Publishing– the easy way!

EBooks have become a virtual godsend for those who cherish reading but dread lugging big and heavy books around. EBooks are portable and can be carried around, contained within any of the electronic devices that many of us carry around all the time – be it our laptops, mobile phones or pen drives. And of course, not to forget the benefits that EBooks have on offer for writers – no expensive publishers to entertain nor any major marketing expenses to incur. Follow the steps enlisted below for fast and easy EBook publishing.

Step 1: Take Your Own Domain

This is an inexpensive, and at the same time, an important step. You need to establish your credibility, both as a writer as well as an entrepreneur. And with your own domain, you will be able to achieve both these goals. Additionally, on your own website, you would have complete power and control over how you market your EBook. Lastly, there would be no commissions to be given out to anyone for EBooks sold on your own website!

Step 2: Develop the Sales Page

To have good sales, it is a must that you develop a Sales Page for your EBook. And this would be irrespective of whether you sell your EBook on your own website or any other. Remember that there are thousands of EBooks on the Internet, waiting to be sold, and if yours is to be sold ahead of all the others (in the queue!), it better stand out in some way, which the Sales Page will ensure that it does.

Step 3: Publish it in Multi-Formats

Publishing your EBook in a single format such as PDF will severely restrict the possible readers, and thus inhibit prospective sales. Therefore, look to publish it in multiple formats, including basic and more commonly prevalent ones such as MS Word. Ensuring multiple formats will also give your prospective readers the feel that you actually care for them, and are actually giving them options.

EBook publishing could never have been so easy!
A Never Before Published Guide on How to Write an Article

Articles are simply everywhere, both online and offline. Whether you skim through your daily newspaper or flip through a magazine, it is unlikely that you will not find articles. In fact, for the aforementioned, articles form not only the skeletal structure, but also the flesh and blood, metaphorically speaking. With so many articles floating all around you, you would sooner or later want to join the bandwagon, and also be an article writer. But how? Do not be so concerned, as the points below will guide you on how to write an article.

Point 1: Research
You have to know the subject matter on which you are writing. So the first step would be to research the topic or issue that you wish to cover in your article. Be thorough and precise, looking up diverse sources, so as not to form a bias in your mind, and present a one-sided opinion.

Point 2: Language
It is vital that your writing is free of any grammatical and other linguistic mistakes. For this, it is necessary that you first know the language in which you are writing, thoroughly. If the language comes easy to you, the article will also come very easy to you, so make sure that you know the language very well.

Point 3: Be Concise
In today’s fast-paced world, everyone is hard-pressed for time. Few people have the patience to pour over long-winding articles. Therefore, keep your articles short and concise. Readers should get an idea as to why they are reading the article and how they will benefit from reading it, fairly quickly. Else they are unlikely to actually read through the entire article, and a lot of your effort would simply prove to be a waste.

I am confident that this unprecedented guide has given you a fair idea of how to write an article, and soon you would be writing articles by the hordes!
Easy Guide on How to Write an Article

Many aspiring writers remain just that – “aspiring writers”! That is, they never graduate to the next step of actually writing anything!! This is particularly true of article writers, who have significant demand and pressure on them to churn out diverse articles in rapid succession. If you are one of those facing a roadblock on this front, the tips listed below will guide you on how to write an article.

Tip 1: Have a framework in mind
This is like the skeleton of your article which you will, metaphorically speaking, populate with flesh and blood, using words. So be clear in your mind about this. Once the structure or framework is clear, in terms of how you will end and how you will begin, the rest will just fall into place rather easily.

Tip 2: Be generally aware
Good article writers are always the ones who read up a lot, and keep themselves generally aware of all that’s happening around them. Make it a habit to read the newspapers and magazines, covering diverse issues. This will not only improve your knowledge but also your vocabulary.

Tip 3: Keep Away Disturbing Elements
All said and done, writing articles is serious business. Constant telephone calls, children demanding attention, etc. will only hamper your progress in writing quality articles. So try and keep the disturbing elements at bay, and to some extent isolate yourself, while writing articles. This may seem harsh, but you will yourself be amazed at the quantum and quality of articles that you will be able to churn out, once you maintain focus.

Follow these basic tips, and you will never have to wonder as to how to write an article.
Article Writing Tips for Beginners

The significance of articles is apparent to Internet enthusiasts, even as they begin to traverse its various paths. At practically every step, they come across articles of various kinds, on diverse subjects. Soon, they aspire to write articles, similar to the ones that they see themselves. Yet are rather unsure of how and where to begin. The article writing tips given below will help you in the process.

Tip 1: Provide Instances
Remember that your article is going to run like a story in the minds of your readers. So make it catchy and imaginative. Provide real-life examples that they could easily relate to. Egg them on right at the beginning of your article, to read right till the very end. Remember that each new happy reader is in turn going to pass on and recommend your article to many others.

Tip 2: Use the right keywords
Maximizing the right usage of keywords and keyword sets always helps while writing articles for the Internet. Eventually, you really want that maximum people read your articles, and also that your articles appear at the top of the search results when Internet users search on topics related to the articles that you have written on.

Tip 3: Get Your Language Right

Having gone through the above mentioned article writing tips, do you still think it is such a big deal to write articles?
Top-Notch Article Writing Tips

As has already been told, over and over again, content simply rules on the Internet. And a lot of that content requirement is met through articles. So you must be wondering how does one churn out so many articles, time after time? As an article writer myself, I have faced the occasional writer’s block in the past, but with time and experience, have successfully managed to overcome any obstacles in my writing. You too can be an unhindered article writer, simply by following the article writing tips provided below.

Tip 1: Research your Subject
This is as elementary as primary school. You have to know about your subject matter, if you are to write on it. At the same time, it does not imply that you need to be a subject matter expert, but you surely need to have the basics in place. Thankfully, with the Internet and resources like Wikipedia, it is reasonably easy to gather knowledge and information, on virtually any topic.

Tip 2: Research Existing Articles on the Subject
Just as important as it is to research and know about your subject, it is almost as important to know about articles that have already been written on the subject. Invariably, you will see that articles and write-ups on particular subjects tend to follow certain styles and formats. So, grasp that style and try and adopt the same or at least similar style and approach in your own articles.

Tip 3: Get the Flow Right
Don’t jump – in the context of your articles! Have a sequential flow to your content matter, as well as a logical progression. In your mind, visualize yourself telling a story. Keeping that in mind, move from one thought to another. Similarly have a proper beginning, in the form of an introduction, and then progressively move towards the end, in the form of a conclusion.

These powerful yet simple and basic article writing tips will guide you on the path of becoming an expert article writer yourself!
Sarcomatoid Mesothelioma

Mesothelioma is a type of cancer that affects the inner lining surrounding various internal organs. The exact causes for mesothelioma are still a mystery but as per studies and researches it is believed that long term exposure to asbestos may lead to the problem. The fine asbestos fibers reach the pleura (lining of the lungs), or peritoneum (lining of the abdominal cavity) or pericardium (lining of the heart), where they affect the lining in a manner that tumors starts to develop there, rendering it malignant and turning it into cancer or mesothelioma. There are mainly three types of mesothelioma; pleural mesothelioma, peritoneal mesothelioma and pericardial mesothelioma.

Basically there are three categories of mesothelioma namely epithelial mesothelioma, sarcomatoid mesothelioma and biphasic mesothelioma. Out of these three categories epithelial mesothelioma is considered to be least aggressive than the other two categories. Sarcomatoid mesothelioma is found in very rare cases. Out of 100 mesothelioma patients only 10-15 patients have sarcomatoid mesothelioma. In this type of mesothelioma the cells developing from support tissues change their shapes and turn into the shape of spindle. They multiply so fast that they grow in number and overlap each other. When the sarcomatoid mesothelioma enters into its advanced stage, the cancer starts spreading into nearby organs which makes the disease life threatening. In the case of sarcomatoid mesothelioma life expectancy after diagnosis is lesser than epithelial mesothelioma.

The symptoms of mesothelioma occur much later than the disease and they are non-specific to diagnose the disease immediately. It may take 30-40 years for the symptoms to show and even when occur initially, the same are not given serious attention. It is only when the problem persists and medicines for the symptoms don’t seem to be working, and then they are taken seriously. Chest pain, coughing, anemia, fatigue, and weight loss are some common symptoms of mesothelioma. Accumulation of fluid in abdominal cavity or spaces of other organs is responsible for the symptoms.

Sarcomatoid mesothelioma can be identified through biopsy of the tissues of the affected area. Once it is determined that the patient is having sarcomatoid mesothelioma, the doctors decide the course of treatment depending upon the stage of the cancer. In most cases radiation therapy along with the removal of the tumor is suggested.
Epitheloid Mesothelioma

Epitheloid mesothelioma is the form of mesothelioma that is the least aggressive as compared to other mesothelioma forms. Patients having this form of mesothelioma tend to have more life expectancy. People working in an atmosphere where there is presence of asbestos, are at higher risk of getting the disease. It is due to this that a ban was imposed on asbestos ion construction in the year 1970.

There are three forms of epithelial mesothelioma, namely pleural mesothelioma which is mesothelioma of the lining of the lungs, second form is peritoneal mesothelioma which affects the lining of the abdominal cavity and the third type of mesothelioma is pericardial mesothelioma which is found in the pericardium, i.e. the membrane that cases the heart. Chest pain, fatigue, anemia, shortness of breath are a few symptoms that point towards the disease.

Patients come to know about the problem 30-40 years later. This prolonged latency period of the disease makes it difficult to get it treated because by then the cancer has reached in its second or third form. It is very important for the people who work in such industries where they are exposed to asbestos to get their regular health check up done to rule out any presence of lump or tumor in the linings of lungs or abdominal cavity or heart. However the average life expectancy after the diagnosis of epitheloid mesothelioma is five to six years, which is comparatively more than the life expectancy of sarcomatoid mesothelioma.

Although the life expectancy of just four to five years may seem very short, but studies are on to somehow prolong life expectancy. The use of lasers to kill affected cancerous cells is one such research which has found limited success only in cases where the cancer has been pre diagnosed. Chemotherapy and radiation as a form of treatment have not been found successful for asbestos induced mesothelioma. Only surgery of the affected tissues has been found to give limited increase in life expectancy. That too when the surgery involves removal of the lung, pleura and half the diaphragm. The aim of such a treatment including surgery is only to relieve the pain the patient is undergoing and can only prolong the life of the patient by up to five years. The disease however is always fatal.
Malignant Mesothelioma

Malignant mesothelioma is a type of cancer found rarely, in which malignant cancerous cells develop and grow in the lining of the lungs called pleura, or in the lining of the abdomen cavity called peritoneum, or lining that surrounds the heart called pericardium.

Out of the three types of mesothelioma pleural mesothelioma is the most common. This occurs when the lining of the lungs is affected by asbestos fibers and malignant cancer cells start to grow. In cases of peritoneal mesothelioma the same thing happens in the lining of abdominal cavity. Pericardium mesothelioma happens due to development of malignant cancer cells in the lining casing the heart.

Studies show that patients having malignant mesothelioma have had asbestos exposure in their work places or their household surroundings. In such environments they breathe in asbestos dust unknowingly. These tiny asbestos fibers are then transported to various organs of the body and disturb the functioning of the tissues of the linings of these organs. Even a little exposure to asbestos can cause the disease.

The diagnosis of malignant mesothelioma is a little difficult as there are no peculiar symptoms for the problem and most often the symptoms are taken lightly mistaking them for some other general problems. The worst part of the disease is that it takes very long (nearly 30 to 40 years or more) for the symptoms of the disease to show and by the time they start to show the cancer has already grown big.

Life expectancy of malignant mesothelioma patients depends completely upon the stage of the cancer that it has been diagnosed at. Depending upon the cancer stage doctors may suggest any one or a combination of two treatment procedures because only removing the tumor is no guarantee that it will not develop again. In most cases removal of the tumor along with chemotherapy or radio therapy is suggested. This way firstly the tumor is taken out of the organ and then the affected area is given radio therapy to burn any remaining cancer cells there. Patients having malignant mesothelioma at the last stage may be suggested for palliative treatment; only as at this stage life expectancy is extremely less.
Pericardial Mesothelioma

Mesothelioma is a type of cancer of the linings that case various organs like the lungs, the digestive system and the heart. Pericardial Mesothelioma is a disease found rarely. This happens when the pericardium (lining of the heart) gets affected. Pericardial mesothelioma is sometimes mistaken for lung cancer as the symptoms are nearly similar but the two diseases are absolutely different from each other. In fact, doctors have not been able to do enough research on the disease as the number of patients diagnosed with it is very little. Only 10% of the total patients suffering from mesothelioma are diagnosed with pericardial mesothelioma.

The cause for both the types of mesothelioma (pleural and pericardial) is the same; asbestos inhalation. The reasons for tiny asbestos fibers to reach the lungs are quite clear and obvious but doctors are yet to understand as to how these fibers are transported to the heart. It is believed that the very fine asbestos fibres reach the heart from the lungs through blood flow and there they clog up in the pericardium where they cause cancerous tumors to develop. The pace of this tumor growth is very fast and after some time it spreads to nearby tissues and fluid starts to build up there. The accumulation of this fluid disturbs regular heart functioning and symptoms of pericardial mesothelioma start to show. The symptoms for the problem include chest pain, shortness of breath, persistent coughing and fatigue. The problem with the disease is that these are not taken seriously on their initial occurrences as they are similar to other common health problems. It is only when they persist for long that the patients seek medical advice and start taking them seriously.

There are three types of cancer cells of mesothelioma and patients of pericardial mesothelioma can have one or even all the three types. These three cancer cells’ types are epitheloid mesothelioma (cancer of epithelium), sacromatoid mesothelioma (develops from the support tissues) and biphasis mesothelioma. The prognosis depends upon the kind of cancer cells. It is believed that patients having tumors with biphasic cells of cancer survive lesser than the patients having other types of cancer cells.
Peritoneal Mesothelioma

Peritoneal mesothelioma is a cancer that affects the peritoneum, which is the lining of our abdominal cavity. This type of mesothelioma is not as common as pleural mesothelioma is. Pleural mesothelioma is found more in males than females. The chances of getting the disease become more if you work in places or industries where you are exposed to asbestos. The reason behind this is that the tiny fibres of asbestos reach the digestive system through the mouth cavity and esophagus where they affect the peritoneum (the lining that surrounds the abdomen).

Peritoneal mesothelioma, like other types of mesothelioma, doesn’t have any peculiar symptoms which may point directly towards the problem. Among the various symptoms of peritoneal mesothelioma abdominal ache, fatigue, building up of fluid in the peritoneum, anemia, fever and weight loss, are some common ones. The symptoms occur much later than the start of the disease. Most often the symptoms are mistaken for other common ailments like hernia or gall bladder stone etc. The presence of fluid can be diagnosed through a process called paracentesis.

To know the stage of the tumor the TNM system is used. The system shows the size and spread of the tumor. Along with the TNM system, there are some categories which support in determining the stage of the cancer. In the first category, the tumor is localized and so can be removed surgically. The second category shows the tumor restricted to the peritoneal surface in the abdominal cavity. This can be removed by debulking. Peritoneal mesothelioma in the third category reflects that the tumor has invaded other nearby organs, but it is still contained within the abdominal cavity. If the tumor is in its fourth stage then it shows that it has spread even outside the abdominal cavity.

Once the process of diagnosis is over and it is confirmed that the symptoms are due to peritoneal mesothelioma, then the treatment process starts. There are a few treatment options available to doctors; surgical removal of the tumor or intraperitoneal chemotherapy is one of them. It has been an established fact that only one process of the treatment fails to eradicate the problem. It reoccurs again and again. To make the patient survive for long, a combination of both the therapies is considered the ideal solution.
Pleural Mesothelioma

Malignant mesothelioma is a type of cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. The most common mesothelioma type is pleural mesothelioma. In instances of this, the lining of the lungs, called pleura is affected. Pleura consist of mesothelial cells. This lining cases the lungs and the chest cavity to provide them protection.

Though there may be various causes for pleural mesothelioma, the most common and well known cause is exposure to asbestos. Asbestos is a material which breaks down into very fine fibers on being beaten or disturbed. These asbestos fibers are so tiny that they get inhaled during breathing and travel to the pleural membrane. Pleura find it difficult to throw out these fibers and their remaining there for a long time results in malfunctioning of the membrane and eventually malignant tumors called pleural mesothelioma. The tumor cells multiply at a fast pace uncontrolled by our body system. This division makes the lining much thicker than what is required and fluid is formed between the layers. This further reduces lung capacity and symptoms of the disease like shortness of breath, persistent coughing, fatigue, sudden weight loss, difficulty in swallowing etc. occur.

It is very difficult to diagnose pleural mesothelioma at the initial stage because there are no specific symptoms for it. All the symptoms are common with the normal ailments and hence are mistaken for some other disease like influenza or pneumonia, which are not life threatening. The second problem with the disease is that the symptoms occur much later, and by the time they do occur the tumor has already grown bigger.

Along with medication, there are three options for treatment of pleural mesothelioma; surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Chances of the success of the treatment become more if the disease is diagnosed at an early stage and the tumor has not grown too big. In such cases surgical removal of the tumor along with radiation therapy or chemotherapy to destroy any remaining cancerous cells, can prove to be effective and save the patient’s life. But unfortunately if the tumor is not detected at an early stage then doctors go for palliative treatments only. This treatment helps the patients by relieving their pain and provides them some temporary comfort. The treatment includes pain relieving drugs, draining of excess fluid from the lungs and surgical removal of the tumor.
Mesothelioma Types

Mesothelioma is a cancer in which the lining of the three major organs of our body gets affected. These three organs are lungs (pleural lining), abdomen (peritoneum) and heart (pericardium). Depending upon the affected part, there are three types of mesothelioma, pleural mesothelioma, peritoneal mesothelioma and pericardial mesothelioma.

The most common mesothelioma out of the three types is pleural mesothelioma. The symptoms of pleural mesothelioma are somewhat similar to lung cancer and often these symptoms are mistaken for lung cancer. The difference between the two cancers is that lung cancer is caused due to malfunctioning of lung tissues, whereas pleural mesothelioma is caused due to malignancy of pleura, which is the lining of the lungs. The symptoms of pleural mesothelioma are shortness of breath, fatigue and chest pain etc. These symptoms occur due to building up of fluid in the pleural cavity. Treatment involves sucking out this fluid. Suction of excess fluid is no guarantee though of non-reoccurrence, but if the space is blocked with the help of surgery, it may relieve the patient permanently from the disease.

Peritoneal mesothelioma is another type of mesothelioma. The disease occurs due to malignancy of the peritoneum, the lining that cases the abdomen. Asbestos fiber inhalation is the most common cause of peritoneal mesothelioma. People working in industries where they are exposed to asbestos are at a high risk of getting it. This is because the fine fibers of asbestos are breathed in and reach the abdomen travelling through the esophagus. These fibers get deposited there and disturb normal functioning of the digestive system, further developing into a tumor. The symptoms of the tumor include abdomen pain, loss in appetite, weight loss etc.

The rarest type of mesothelioma is pericardial mesothelioma. This happens when the pericardium is affected. Studies show that men are more prone to it as compared to women. Some initial symptoms of pericardial mesothelioma are chest pain and persistent coughing. These symptoms occur because of building up of fluid around the heart. Surgical removal of the pericardium is an effective treatment.

Tunica vaginalis testis is yet another type of mesothelioma, though only a handful of patients are affected by this. Tunica vaginalis testis is caused when fluid accumulates in a sac near the testicles. Removal of the affected testis is the appropriate treatment suggested by doctors.
Mesothelioma Diagnosis

Mesothelioma is typically difficult to be diagnosed, as the cancer is not exactly recognizable. Mesothelioma diagnosis is quite often described with other conditions, as the signs and indications of Mesothelioma are similar to other illnesses. Mesothelioma diagnosis is usually instigated after complete medical examination of the patient showing the relevant signs and symptoms. Physical examination will involve several imaging tests in order to examine the distrustful cell formation. Diagnosis tests will include one or more of the following:

X-rays – Abdomen or chest x-rays could exactly reveal the formation of fluid build-up, and masses. Moreover, they can reveal the symptoms of non cancerous pleural disease.

Computed Tomography Scan – Described as CT scans, they set forth detailed images of the human body. Computed tomography scans efficiently locate chest wall invasions, pleural disease, and maneuver needle aspiration checkups. Though CT scan is involved in the process of diagnosis, they could never differentiate the conflicts between benignant or malignant Mesothelioma.

Positron Emission Tomography – Also described as PET, this imaging test has become the most effective and prominent way to diagnose Mesothelioma. Moreover, this diagnosis imaging test helps determine the level and staging of tumors.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging – Also described as MRI scans, they involve computer connected magnets that take detailed photographs of the human body. This helps in determining the extent of the cancer.

Biopsy – Needled Biopsy is definitely essential to ensure an effective Mesothelioma diagnosis. During the time of biopsy, small tissues are taken out and are examined for cancer cells. After complete observation under microscope, the presence of cancer cells will be inspected. Determining the presence of cancer cells, biopsy could be made in various ways such as Thoracoscopy and Peritoneoscopy.

If your near and dear ones experience any signs or symptoms of Mesothelioma, then it is definitely vital to avail immediate medication. Mesothelioma diagnosis might scare numerous people but it actually helps in battling against cancer cells, if diagnosed earlier. A complete Mesothelioma diagnosis will help the doctor to determine the stage and type of tumor. Finally, the relevant treatment could be provided so as to ensure the best possible cure.
Mesothelioma Symptoms

Mesothelioma is one of those rare diseases, symptoms of which take 20 to 40 years to be detected. This latent period makes the disease fatal, because during this time the symptoms do not appear and when they start to appear, it becomes very late to check it.

There are various types of mesothelioma, namely pleural, peritoneal, pericardial etc. and the symptoms differ from patient to patient depending upon the type and also the stage of the disease. Initial symptoms of mesothelioma are similar to common health ailments like bronchitis, stomach ache, flu etc.; hence they are not given the required attention.

Patients suffering from pleural mesothelioma may have shortness of breath resulting in discomfort in swallowing or coughing. This discomfort in breathing is due to the presence of excess fluid between the linings of the lungs. This also leads to pain in chest and/or in abdomen. These pleural mesothelioma symptoms occur only at a later stage. The same are difficult to be caught at an early stage even in chest x-rays or physical examination. Some other symptoms that may indicate towards the disease are loss of appetite and hoarseness of voice. The primary symptoms disturb the normal functioning of the body, for instance patients find it difficult to sleep due to persistent coughing, which further leads to sleeplessness and fatigue as well.

Most of the symptoms are nearly similar in all mesothelioma types; they may differ slightly depending upon the location of the tumor. In cases of pericardial mesothelioma chest pain may be more severe than peritoneal or pleural mesothelioma cases.

People don’t get alarmed immediately on having coughing, or voice change or other such mild symptoms. It is only when they have breathing problems or when the other symptoms persist for too long that they seek medical advice. Severity of the symptoms varies depending upon the size of the tumor.

Medical experts can conclude the symptoms for mesothelioma by performing certain tests and going through the history of the patient for any exposure to asbestos. It is advisable for those who have exposure to asbestos to get regular medical checkups done for mesothelioma, rather than waiting for its symptoms to occur.
Mesothelioma Causes

Mesothelioma is a type of cancer that is found in rare cases. Studies have shown that majority of its patients are men. This may be because the most common factor of its cause is exposure to asbestos and men are exposed to it more than women. Asbestos is a material widely used in various industries like ship building, construction work and motor industries etc. People working in such industries are at a higher risk of getting mesothelioma due to their exposure to asbestos for a longer period of time. Out of the three types of asbestos namely blue, brown and white, the first two are said to be more dangerous than the last one. It takes around ten to forty years for the disease to develop on being exposed to asbestos for longer duration. It is because of this that the UK put a ban on the import of asbestos.

Asbestos is dangerous because it releases very fine fibres on being disturbed. These fibres are so tiny that they can be taken in while breathing and enter into the lungs, affecting their functioning by damaging the pleura. Once inside the airways, these tiny fibres block them so badly that the same can’t be coughed out further causing inflammation of the tissue of the lungs.

It is not only the people who are directly exposed to asbestos are at risk of having mesothelioma, but their family members are also equally at the risk of having it. This is because the dust of asbestos settles down on the clothes of those working in these conditions which they end up carrying home along with them.

Though it is very rare to have mesothelioma without having any exposure to asbestos, but such rare cases do occur and as per the experts’ this may be due to exposure to radiation. There may be some other causes of mesothelioma which are still not known to us. Scientists are researching to zero down these hidden causes. One thing is sure that this is neither a contagious nor a hereditary disease. Children of the patients of mesothelioma are not at all at the risk of inheriting the disease from their parents. It is only when they themselves come in contact with asbestos that they are put at risk of getting it.
